SHA Youth Hockey Sponsorship Program
SHA Youth Hockey (SHA) offers varying sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming season. SHA provides youth hockey and skating opportunities to approximately 60 children in the South Dayton Region. By becoming an SHA sponsor, you will reach the families of our members in a way that can benefit both the children and your business. SHA is an I.R.C. Section 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization.
All sponsorships are one year in duration, beginning in September of each year. Details of each sponsorship are as follows:
GOLD SPONSORSHIP – $500.00 (Multiple Available)
Program sponsorship provides the opportunity for your company to get involved in promoting the interests of our organization and funds will be used to subsidize direct team-related expenses.
- Your company name on the back of all game jerseys
- Your company’s name and logo prominently displayed in the header of every page on the SHA website as well as banner placement.
- Your company name and logo listed in the Sponsor Section of our website, with a direct link to your company’s website
- A framed certificate of appreciation and team photo will be presented to proudly display your support of youth hockey in our community
SILVER SPONSORSHIP – $250.00 (Multiple Available)
Program sponsorship provides the opportunity for your company to get involved in promoting the interests of all the children involved in SHA Youth Hockey. Your funds will be used to subsidize program related expenses.

FRIENDS OF SHA YOUTH HOCKEY – $50.00

Why Sponsor SHA?
SHA Youth Hockey (SHA) was established in 2000 and is an I.R.C. Section 501(c) (3) not for profit organization run strictly by volunteers. The program’s mission is to provide a safe and fun hockey learning experience for the children of South Dayton Region communities.
Our biggest expense is ice time rental, which makes up over 75% of our operating budget. We have always strived to keep our tuition low and affordable to our players and their families. Unfortunately, local rinks have raised their ice time fees dramatically in the past year. Our player enrollment has also been reduced from prior years, most likely seen as a result of the pressures of the economy. Our most recent budget analysis has indicated that we will begin next season with a significant deficit.
We are calling upon you to help keep our program running for the greater good of the children of SHA and the surrounding areas. Your financial support will help us keep our tuition as reasonable as possible and prevent many of our players from being “priced out” of youth hockey. With your support, we can offer your company valuable advertising opportunities. SHA will promote your business in our local community via banner ads throughout the SHA website www.SHAhockey.com, and/or your company name on team jerseys. We will also place your company name and logo on our sponsor section and include a link to your site if desired.
